Klass claims "it is rumored" that I ghostwrote Travis Walton's first book, The Walton Experience (1978). He further alleges that he has "evidence" that I ghostwrote much of Walton's more recent Fire in the Sky (1996). For what it's worth, if anyone cares, I ghostwrote not a word of either book. I did supply Walton, at his request, with copies of a few pieces I'd written on Klass and CSICOP for the second book, and Walton indicates as much in his coverage of debunking treatments of his story. Walton is bright and gifted enough to write his own book, and I have no reason to believe he did not do so. I find Klass' allegations not only puzzling but just plain odd. Jerry Clark
