Sorry to temporarily interrupt this "major controversy," but....

When all is said and done, and we figure out whether or not the
article was correct or not concerning Jim Dilettoso (by contacting the
University to check at least part of it out), the following still
exists and also needs to be addressed: (How deeply is up to Mr. Oberg)

Re: Mr. Oberg's comments regarding my website

He's had more than a year to respond to the Oberg/Cooper website and
has now, finally seen fit to comment. (see end of this post)  I
briefly replied.

Is it my imagination or did it get quiet out there? With all the
writing I did in the rebuttals, it certainly is not impossible I might
have made some mistakes in my thinking or data somewhere. Perhaps Mr.
Oberg could cordially help me correct anything he finds? I'd be happy
to make any necessary changes if:

1) he would point them out to me
2) we discuss them and
3) the majority of readers agree with his assessment.

BTW:  It is the same "general innuendo, with minimal or no support"
exhibited in Mr. Oberg's post to me, which I find great fault with in
his "circa 1983" essay.

JC:   Mr. Oberg, thanks for your acknowledgement.  There are those who
would say the rebuttal is not as "pitiable" as you seem to think. Is
there something specific in the essays you wish to comment upon?  :-)

Considering the low level of the pitiable "rebuttal" to my circa
1983 study of why Cooper's UFO stories (and stories _about_
Cooper and UFOs which do not originate from him) are not reliable
evidence for "true UFOs", any change is likely to be an
improvement.
